The Albany party was a great success this year, even being on Friday night. It was great to see everybody that showed up and we even had a few surprises.
The Alumni also honored us with this beautiful plaque. I think it's because they can't believe we're still playing together...
Pretty cool, huh?

We're hoping that many of you alumni can make it to the Albany Alumni Function (May 29th) or
Alumni Weekend in Potsdam (July 10th & 11th).
If there's ever been a time that you said to yourself (or even out loud) that "Gee, I wish they'd play ... ... ... at Maxfields this summer, or "Remember that song we used to dance to all the time" or (insert your own circumstance), here's your chance!

Well, not much news right now, other than we'll be taking a bit of a hiatus until late April. It's too cold and sloppy to carry subwoofers around. These last two weekends we've been setting up and tearing down in below-zero temps and although the shows were really fun, the hard part was not.
On a brighter note, our staff lyricist, Mr. Frank Johns, has begun to put together another collection of his scatter-brained and humorous song titles. They usually lead to scatter-brained and humorous lyric sheets, putting Rob and I in the precarious position of making them into songs. Consequently, there may be another new Double Axel CD in the future somewhere. We had such a great time making the last one that we just can't resist. We will certainly keep you posted!
